All reservations for picnic locations in the park must be made in person. The park offers both reservable and first come first serve picnic locations. To check the availability of a specific area on a particular date, you are advised to call the number listed next to the park. Reservations are categorized as a “Special Event” when the attendance exceeds the capacity of a Reservable Area, use of a Special Event Area or a park with no Reservable Areas, or when a Reservable Area is used in a manner other than its specified recreational use.

The park offers several reservable areas with different features. Some areas have a gazebo, play area, picnic tables, and grills. The capacity of these areas ranges from 50 to 199 people. Some areas are covered and have amenities like a basketball court, community center, disc golf, horseshoe pit, playground, volleyball, and restrooms. The park also has a Tortoise Pavilion & Hare Pavilion with a capacity of up to 150 people per site.

The fees for reserving the Tortoise Pavilion & Hare Pavilion are $75.00 for community use and $150.00 for commercial use. These sites can be reserved from Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM. However, no reservations are accepted on holidays.

The park offers a variety of amenities including a splash pad, walk path, playgrounds, restroom, disc golf, a recreation center, senior center, exercise stations, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, and restrooms. Some areas are located near the basketball court or between the baseball fields.

Reservations can be made online by filling out the reservation form and sending it to Prsunsetfrontdesk@clarkcountynv.gov, or in-person by appointment only. The office hours for making reservations are Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm. The office is closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
