I graduated from LVA in 2019 with a major in mariachi. I served as the section leader for Mariachi Internacional for the last two years I was there. Currently, I am in my last semester as a student teacher, taking charge of a first-grade class. I am set to graduate in December 2023 as an Elementary Education major and look forward to obtaining my masters in Special Education in the spring of 2024.
My passion lies with the little kids. I am truly happy to soon be working in my own classroom. This is where my heart is and I am so excited! I have always been someone who enjoys learning and educating others with the knowledge (or little knowledge) that I have.
LVA has truly helped in getting me this far. I can truly say that without some of the teachers here, I wouldn't be here (especially Mr. Rivera). They helped me in the times where I felt like no one could help me and in the rough patch in my life. LVA has prepared me into becoming a professional.
Some of the teachers at LVA, especially Mr. Rivera, have been instrumental in my journey. They helped me during times when I felt like no one could help me and during the rough patches in my life. My brother, Arnie, has also been a significant part of my journey.
I am looking forward to obtaining my masters in Special Education in the spring of 2024. I am excited about the prospect of working in my own classroom and making a difference in the lives of my students.
