The Botanical Cactus Garden is unique in many ways. It is the largest cactus garden in Nevada and houses one of the most prolific collections of its kind. The 3-acre garden features more than 300 species of plants, including cacti and succulents native to the American Southwest, as well as desert trees and shrubs from the Southwestern United States, Australia, and South America. Each plant has been carefully selected for the beauty of their floral displays and their ability to adapt to and thrive in the climate of the Mojave Desert.

There are two main events held at the Botanical Cactus Garden annually. During the holiday season, the garden is decorated with sparkling lights and holiday decor, creating a magical atmosphere. Visitors can meet Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and other treats. The second event is the Lights of Love, which starts in mid-January each year. This event is a unique way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, where visitors can stroll through the romantically lit garden and enjoy chocolate-dipped strawberries and other treats.

Visitors can take a leisurely stroll through the cactus garden to enjoy the botanical desert terrain, then head into the flagship store to see how the chocolates are made. They can also browse the Chocolate Factory for a selection of chocolate gifts to take home, such as premium chocolate gift boxes, or even create their own custom box of chocolates. Both the Botanical Cactus Garden and tour are free and open to the public.
